Directions: 

Step 1: Heat the oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Step 2: Add the cumin seeds and let them brown slightly for about 1-2 minutes.

Step 3: Add the onions and sauté until softened and lightly browned, about 5 minutes.

Step 4: Add garlic, ginger, chopped cashews, and achari masala. Stir to mix well with onions.

Step 5: Pour in water or broth to cover the chicken pieces.

Step 6: Bring the chicken to a boil.

Step 7: Turn the heat down low and cover the pot. Cook for about 25 minutes on medium or until chicken is cooked through.

Step 8:  When done, remove from heat and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.
