- 4 pieces of chicken thighs (boneless, skinless)

- 2 green chilies (deseeded and chopped)
- 2 tomatoes (chopped )
- 2 green chilies (whole )
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste [optional]
- 2 tablespoons oil [optional]
- Salt to taste.
Method:
Step 1: Heat oil in a Kadai. Add whole chilies and fry till the raw smell goes away.
Step 2: Fry ginger, garlic paste, and chopped tomatoes for 1-2 minutes.
Step 3: Add the chicken pieces, turmeric powder, and salt. Fry on medium heat till the meat turns pink (about 7-10 minutes).
Step 4: Cover with lid and cook for another 7 minutes.
Step 5: Place the eggplant in the cooker. Stir for a few minutes. Cover and cook for about 10-15 minutes on low heat.
Step 6: Add half of the chicken sauce and mix well. Cook for another 5-10 minutes on medium heat.
Step 7: Add the remaining chicken sauce and salt. Stir well and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 8: Garnish with cilantro, slit green chilies, and serve hot.
