As we cannot control the way others cook these dishes, we have no idea how long they will last. However, we have included some of the comments from other readers. Please use them as a reference for your use.

1. I only made half of the recipe and put it in the refrigerator around 4 hours before serving. I wanted to heat it when my guests arrived, but I forgot that I had saved it in the refrigerator. The next day, my husband heated it for me, and we ate it for lunch with some salad on the side. It tasted like a fresh meal despite having been in the fridge overnight!

2. If you have time, your meat can last for about 3 days in the fridge. If not, we made it and ate it the same night. It held well for a few hours and then just started going stale. We didn’t care!

3. I wanted to freeze this dish but had no idea if it would bake or not once frozen. I figured they would be fine if frozen, but it turned out that they were still pretty tasty after being frozen and defrosted at room temperature the next day.
