- 3 tablespoons olive oil

- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 5 green chile peppers, finely sliced
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 3 whole cardamom seeds
- 2 whole cloves
- 1 ½ (2 inches) cinnamon sticks
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup water
Instructions:
Step 1: Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a non-stick skillet and sauté green pepper, onion, garlic, and ginger for about 5 minutes.
Step 2: In a mortar or large bowl, crush all spices with powdered garlic and cayenne pepper except for water.
Step 3: Mix the beef with this powder in a large mixing bowl and stay 20 minutes.
Step 4: Take out the beef pieces from the bowl after 20 minutes and dust them with flour on both sides.
Step 5: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a skillet and fry the beef pieces till they turn golden.
Step 6: Add the remaining oil to the same skillet and sauté whole cinnamon sticks, cloves, and cardamom seeds until they become a soft creamy extractable texture.
Step 7: Add fried beef to the spice mixture and sauté for 4 minutes.
Step 8: Pour water into the skillet and cook it for another 3-4 minutes.
Step 9: Add salt, garlic powder, ginger paste, and cayenne pepper to the necessary quantities and mix it well.
Step 10: Pour this seasoned beef curry into a baking dish, cover it with its lid or platter and let it cool down for at least half an hour.
Step 11: Cut the beef pieces into 1-1/2 inch sizes, generally 12 pieces for one serving.
