- 350 gms Asparagus
- 1 nos Onion
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tbsp Grated Coconut
- Salt to taste

- 1 tsp Oil
- Curry Leaves few as needed
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
FOR GRINDING:
- 1/4 tsp Peppercorns
- 1 nos Green Chilli
- 4 nos Garlic Cloves
Instructions:
1. Wash and scrub the asparagus to remove any dirt.
2. Preheat the oven to 180 C degrees. Hot grill on its lowest setting.
3. Peel and chop the onion into small pieces. Mince the garlic cloves and green chili with the grater.
4. Add oil to a frying pan on medium heat, add mustard seeds and let them splutter for a few seconds before adding the onions. Cook until they turn soft, with no sign of browning or burning (about 5-7 minutes).
5. Add the chopped garlic and green chili to the onions and cook for about 2 minutes.
6. Add the cumin seeds, coriander powder, garam masala, and turmeric powder to the onions and cook, constantly stirring, for 30 seconds until all of the spices are fragrant.
7. Mix in chili powder, grated coconut, and salt to taste (I used 1 tsp of salt), and mix well before adding the asparagus spears.
